This Sunday, October 8, is the 6th edition of the Arrowtown Beech Party Planting Day.
Join in on the action as the volunteer group Arrowtown Choppers invites the community to contribute to the enhancement of Arrowtown’s biodiversity. It’s a chance to make a tangible impact by planting native Beech, Ribbonwood, and Totara species, shaping the landscape for generations to come.
Find your way to the picturesque Sawpit Gully track, nestled above Bush Creek. This is where the magic will unfold and where your efforts will create a thriving ecosystem for generations to come.
The young ones are more than welcome to join in the fun! Bring your kids along for a day of excitement, with pre-dug holes making it easy for them to participate. It’s an opportunity for them to get hands-on with nature and learn more about their environment.
Meet at the iconic Arrowtown Chinese Village, where friendly guides will direct you to the planting site overlooking Bush Creek, ensuring you’re ready to make a difference.
After planting, the excitement continues up the hill with a complimentary BBQ, refreshing drinks, and exciting prizes.
Come along and enjoy a day of fun and community involvement.
