Hanley’s Farm is proud to unveil The Farmhouse – a new café from the team behind The Exchange in Queenstown.

The Farmhouse represents many years of work by RCL Group to establish a central culinary destination for Hanley’s Farm that will not only service the local area, but create jobs for the wider community.

Ryan, a seasoned business owner (and his partners Sam and Didier) in Queenstown and the proud proprietor of The Farmhouse, identified a pressing need for the local area – partnering with RCL Group to deliver something truly unique.

“We want The Farmhouse to be not only for Hanley’s Farm residents but a destination for other Queenstown locals, so they can try something different and experience our southern hospitality.”

Underpinned by a commitment to quality, RCL Group were strategic in choosing a quality café operator that aligns with its ethos to enrich communities.

As part of it’s offering, there will also be a small range of household essential items for purchase, saving locals from a trip to the supermarket.

The Farmhouse has an exceptional menu with a variety of offerings including some surprisingly different dishes. All thoughtfully priced to ensure affordability takes centre stage “We want people to feel as though they can visit regularly not just on special occasions.”

Front and centre of The Farmhouse’s values is a commitment to sustainability and supporting local. “We strongly believe in supporting small local businesses wherever we can.”

The locally roasted coffee by fellow Hanley’s residents, Alex and Devan is a testament to their strong support for the local community.

A standout feature is the ‘mug library,’ a forward-thinking initiative designed to reduce waste. Customers have the opportunity to borrow and return mugs, while coffee grounds are readily available for local gardens.

Open for dinner service, The Farmhouse have a commitment to being as inclusive as possible with all welcome to eat in or take away.

RCL Group are proud to have invested in The Farmhouse as part of its ongoing commitment to creating community hubs and look forward to seeing this new hospitality offering come to life at Hanley’s Farm just in time for summer.
