You get a double choc hit with this deliciously fudgy chocolate brownie recipe – thanks to the cocoa and choc chip components.

Bake until they’re just cooked to make the most of the squidgy centre that’s melt-in-the-mouth good!

300g butter

3/4 cup cocoa

2 1/2 cups brown sugar

3 eggs

1 1/2 cups plain flour

250g milk choc bits

250g white choc bits

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC. Line the base of 18cm x 23cm slice tin with baking paper.
  2. Place butter and cocoa in large bowl and heat in microwave until butter is melted, stir. Add brown sugar and mix well.
  3. Add eggs and flour, 1 egg and ½ cup flour at a time – making sure to mix after each addition. Add choc bits and combine.
  4. Bake for 30-40 mins or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Cool in the tin for 10 minutes then turn onto wire rack.
  5. Dust with icing sugar when cool. Nice served warm as a dessert with berries.
