Just down the road from Hanley’s Farm, the Remarkables Market Winter Series is the perfect way to spend a crisp Saturday morning. This beloved local market brings together a fantastic mix of artisans, food vendors, and producers, think handmade crafts, thoughtful gifts, fresh baked goods, and seasonal produce.
There’s live music to keep the vibe relaxed, grassy spots to lounge with a hot coffee and pastry, and a real sense of community in the air. It’s a place where locals gather, catch up, and support small businesses while soaking in those beautiful mountain views.
We also love the market’s sustainability mission, Remarkables Market is aiming to become New Zealand’s first zero-waste market. Their mug library means you can sip sustainably even if you forget your reusable cup.
